With the NFL draft about a week and change away, rumors are going to be popping up all over the place about trades and moves for teams around the league.
One player whose name seems to pop up often is that of Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who played hurt in 2019 and just didn’t have the huge season that everyone expected.
The Browns from day one seem that they are happy with Beckham, and the thought of moving him after just one season seems like a very unpopular expressed by Browns fans.
There is a rumor that popped up today stating that the Browns are chatting with the NFC North’s Minnesota Vikings about a deal for Beckham.
The rumor comes from New York radio host Marc Malusis, who is a co-host of the show “Moose and Maggie” mid-days on WFAN 660.
Here’s the tweet that he posted on Wednesday:
So, as I reported this morning on @MandMWFAN, Source has told me that the Browns and Vikings are in discussions on a trade that would send @obj to the Vikings for a 2nd and 5th round pick next year. Trade is not done, but the deal is being discussed.

How truthful the rumor is no one really knows (except maybe the Browns and Vikings), and it has seemed like a lot of Beckham/trade rumors have come out of New York, where Odell once played.
Many have replied that the rumor is not real in the least, but we shall see if anyone else picks up on it or if one of the national commentators gives the rumor legs.
Until then – stay tuned.

Don’t stupid Browns! Give OBJ another year at least to prove he should stay.
And for God’s sake, if you do trade you had better get more than a 2nd and a 5th! He is a proven top tier talent. 1st round at least. Why not 2 first round picks?
