Anytime Tree Service High School Game of the Night: Bee’s roll to 10-0 win over Euclid

MEDINA, Ohio – The Bee’s returned home Thursday night to host the visiting Euclid team. The conditions were less than perfect, but the hard work of the Medina staff had the field playable enough to allow the Bee’s to dominate Euclid in route to a 10-0 victory.

In a game packed with hitting, it was the pitching of JR. Alex Whittaker that took home the “Anytime Tree Service” player of the game honors. Whittaker tossed five more scoreless innings tonight, bringing his season total to a whopping 15 scoreless innings.

The Bee’s jumped all over Euclid early and often and attacked Euclid pitcher SR. Larry Hopgood with patient and clutch hitting. They began the scoring in the first inning with a beautiful single RBI between the first and second basemen by Robbie Hansen to get the Bee’s on the board first. They went to score two more and hold a 3 -0 lead after the first inning.

The Bee’s would tack one more on in the second inning before exploding in the third inning for three more runs to make it 7 – 0 after three. A Bruce Fink double to right and a Robbie Hansen single to right sandwiched a hard hit RBI single by Ryan Bowers to give the Bee’s serious breathing room.

Much like the breathing room and overall elegance “Anytime Tree Service” will give your backyard. They can make it spacious enough for Dustin Ackerman, Jake Smith, Cade Pipoly, John Curtis, Colin Winters and the rest of the Bee’s to hit line drives in it all day!
