There has been plenty of feedback from fans and even some former Browns players when it comes to the Monday firing of Hue Jackson, the day after the team was blown out by AFC North rival Pittsburgh 33-18 in Heinz Field.
Two former Browns running backs seem to disagree about the firing, that being Earnest Byner, and Eric Metcalf, who each have their own perspective on the move to get rid of Jackson.
Byner spoke to TMZ Sports about the firing, stating that Hue’s awful record spoke for itself, and that he deserved to be shown the door after winning just three games in two plus seasons.
“I didn’t like how that team looked,” Byner said. “You’d have to say this firing has been earned.”
Byner went on to say he was surprised that Jackson was brought back to the team in 2018 after the team failed to win a game in 2017 going 0-16.
“You wonder what was the process of what made them bring Hue back, especially after going through so much losing.”
Metcalf went to twitter to give his thoughts on the firing, basically saying the fans got what they wanted, and now will have to live with it.
You Browns fans got what you wanted, don’t say sh.. when they don win another game!

As crazy as it sounds and I know all the Browns fans are joking but what does it say about how you feel about your current players when you always ask K Mack, EB, Bernie, Top Dawg, Langy, Myself and whoever else can we play now?
