The Cavs and Warriors were destined to meet for a third-straight time. Both sides are healthy going into the series. We’ll see if Draymond Green still incorporates karate into his game, but at least in the Western Conference Playoffs, he didn’t make the same mental mistakes.
There shouldn’t be any excuses this time around – for injury or any other reason – and this series could “settle the score” so to speak, as the rubber match after two great battles in 2015 and 2016.
It marks the first time in league history in which two teams meet for a third-straight Finals series.
The addition of Kevin Durant obviously adds a new wrinkle into the mix and should make this battle even more compelling than the first two.
The moment we’ve been waiting for since July 4th (or maybe June 20th) is about to begin.
