
3. Second Unit Steps Up
After scoring only nine points and seven points in the previous two games, Cleveland’s second unit erupted for 49 in Game 5, a large chunk of which came before the game was out of reach.
Deron Williams scored 14 on 5-of-6 shooting. Richard Jefferson scored nine. Kyle Korver scored seven.
James Jones even threw down a putback, which sent the bench into sheer chaos.
Dahntay Jones also got to enjoy some garbage time without punching anybody in the groin.
