5 Suggestions for Tribe Fans at Progressive Field in 2017

3. The Hunter has become the Hunted. Don’t expect anyone to sleep on the Tribe this time.

Along with having a magical 2016 season, part of the theme of the year involved the Cleveland Indians as underdogs.

Every national outlet picked the Boston Red Sox to eliminate the Tribe in the ALDS.

Even local writers (understandably so) had their doubts due to injuries.

After the Tribe decided to make it their business to prove every doubter wrong last Fall, ownership and the front office continued to defy the narrative that these would be the same old Cleveland Indians in the Winter.

As a result, national media and pundits are all on board.

How will the Tribe respond to the newfound respect? Complacency would be the last thing to expect out of a team who still smells the champagne from November that never made it into their clubhouse.

But some teams tend to thrive on being underestimated. Last year’s team sure did.

We have yet to see how this group will handle all that comes with being the reigning American League Champs with the target on their backs.
