5-Star recruit Christopher Hinton included Ohio State in his list of top six schools he’s considering.

Hinton, a 6-foot-4, 265 pound defensive end from Norcross, Georgia is currently ranked No. 7 overall in the Class of 2019, according to 247 Sports’ National Composite Rankings.
He’s the top-ranked strong side defensive end in the nation and the No. 2 ranked player in his class in the state of Georgia.
Hinton’s list also includes Michigan, Georgia, Stanford, Clemson and North Carolina.
According to 247 Sports, he’s leaning towards Michigan as he enters his junior year. Head Coach Jim Harbaugh offered him in January of 2016 and he took an unofficial visit there last September.
Hinton was in Columbus Friday for Ohio State’s Friday Night Lights visiting the program and meeting with head coach Urban Meyer.

He is the son of former NFL offensive lineman Chris Hinton, who attended Northwestern and was selected No. 4 overall in the 1983 NFL Draft. He went on to play 13 seasons in the league with the Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings, earning seven Pro Bowl and three All-Pro selections.
