5 Potential Browns Head Coaches We Would Like To See In 2019

Honorary Mention: Matt Campbell Head Coach Iowa State

A 38 year old up and coming college coach from Massillon, Ohio, Campbell has the roots that Browns fans would love to add. After working his way up to head coach at Toledo he left for Iowa State where he revitalized a stagnant Cyclones program into a contender in the Big XII. His name has come up in a lot of head coaching searches including at Ohio State when the Urban Meyer situation was unfolding as a possible candidate.

While Campbell is a hot name I’d rather see him develop a little more before jumping the gun from Iowa State straight to the NFL. Having coached at only Mount Union, Bowling Green, Toledo, and Iowa State I would have questions about what kind of NFL coaching staff he can assemble as well. Right now the timing might not be right but keep an eye out for him over the next few years.
