2. Jordan McRae and DeAndre Liggins for Shelvin Mack
If the Cavs don’t find a way to use their trade exception before it expires, it’s still possible the team can make a move to get Jazz point guard Shelvin Mack. He would fill the hole of backup point guard. McRae and Liggins don’t appear to be part of the picture for this championship run, unless a significant injury happened to yet another backcourt player.
This trade gives Utah two young players with potential to add to their young roster. It also would open up another roster spot for the Cavs to sign a backup center, possibly one who is waived/bought out.

I think they should make the trade with New York then look for a center that on a wavier
