4.) QBs Stayed Healthy
It is hard to remember a season where a Cleveland Browns QB has lasted the whole season without being significantly injured. The 2015 and 2016 seasons saw both Josh McCown and Robert Griffin III get hurt in the opening game each season. With the focus being on DeShone Kizer this season and wondering if he can be the guy, it is great to see that the line was able to keep the QB upright and there was not a significant injury to any QB. Imagine getting the top pick if Kizer got injured early in the year and the front office had to make the decision on where to go with the pick without seeing what Kizer could do. Luckily they have been able to get an evaluation on the QBs and despite the benchings for poor performance, those evaluations can be based on talent and not injury.
