The Cavs are getting ready to take on the team that’s looking up at them in the standings for the best record in the East tonight, as they take on the 38-18 Toronto Raptors in Toronto.
The Raptors are three games back of the Cavaliers, who come into action at 41-15 after a win on Wednesday over Charlotte at home.
The team already has announced they will be without guard Mo Williams, who is staying back for the two weekend games to get treatment on his knee, and now it looks like the team may still be without guard Iman Shumpert.
Shumpert, who has played in 31 games this season putting up 6.1 points per game, may have to sit as he continues to try and get back on the court with a shoulder issue that’s forced him to miss the last three games.
Shump says that he’s not so sure that he’s going to be able to go, while coach Tyronn Lue says he thinks he will be able to go.
Hmmmm….
#Cavs Ty Lue said Shumpert is expected to play tonight vs Raptors, but Shump was more pessimistic. Said he needed contact on shoulder first

If Shumpert has to sit again, it will be J.R. Smith and Matthew Dellavedova earning extended minutes.
