Everyone already assumes the Browns will be taking one of the big two quarterbacks, Jared Goff or Carson Wentz, but there’s two other interesting quarterbacks out there that are set to be free agents soon.
One is Broncos QB Brock Osweiler, who was linked to the Browns by SI longtime writer Peter King just over a week ago as a possible future thrower for the brown and orange.
Another QB who could be in the mix for the Browns is Washington Redskins signal caller Kirk Cousins. He led the Redskins to a solid 2015 out of nowhere, as Washington went 9-7, and Cousins threw for 4,166 yards with an impressive 29 touchdowns and just 11 picks.
Would the Redskins let Cousins walk? Most say ‘no way,’ but today Adam Schefter stated that talks between the Redskins and Cousins have broken off.
Redskins and QB Kirk Cousins have broken off contract talks, per team source. No further talks scheduled.

Could the Browns scoop in and grab Cousins? They may not even want him, but if Cousins really doesn’t want to go back to the Skins, the Browns could be an option if Hue Jackson and the new coaching staff wants him.
