13.) Philadelphia Eagles- Mackenzie Alexander CB Clemson
The Eagles corners this year were just bad. They get lucky that Alexander makes it down this far to them. He comes in to be an immediate starter because you need somebody to cover Dez and Odell twice a year.
14.) Oakland Raiders- Jaylon Smith LB Notre Dame
Smith would have been a top ten pick if it wasn’t for getting hurt in the Fiesta Bowl. I think the risk here could outweigh the risks for Oakland. Can you imagine pairing Jaylon Smith with Khalil Mack on that Raider defense. That’s a scary thought.
15.) Los Angeles Rams- Paxton Lynch QB Memphis
He was talked about as being the top QB before Goff outshined him in the bowl game and Wentz excelled at the Senior Bowl. Lucky for the Rams with all of that going on he might slip to fifteen and the franchise can get the new face of LA.
16.) Detroit Lions- Jack Conklin OT Michigan State
The Lions stay close to home and pick up Conklin. The Lions need to protect Matt Stafford. They could also use some guys up front to try and block for the running backs they need to upgrade. He would provide a big upgrade to start with.
17.) Atlanta Falcons- Shaq Lawson DE Clemson
The Falcons went with a pass rusher from Clemson last year but they can try for another one this year. The Falcons were dead last in the NFL in sacks this season. They need to add another pass rusher so Lawson makes sense for them.
18.) Indianapolis Colts- Taylor Decker OT Ohio State
The Colts line was bad this year. Maybe we can change that to awful. Poor Andrew Luck and Matt Hasselbeck for having to try and play QB behind it. The Colts need to take the best lineman that’s there to try and give them some protection.
