From an Ohio State perspective, what stands out is that there are four Big Ten teams in the top ten.
Michigan just dominated Rutgers 78-0.
Wisconsin had a bye week and hosts Ohio State on Saturday night.
Nebraska is quietly off to a 5-0 start, but has yet to face an elite team.
Washington and Clemson control their own destiny and are in the driver’s seat of the PAC-12 and ACC, respectively.
In the SEC, Tennessee’s double overtime loss to Texas A&M means that they would most likely have to go undefeated the rest of the way to have any hope of reaching the College Football Playoff.
We’ll talk more about these scenarios in this week’s edition of the College Football Playoff Minefield.
