3 Reasons Why Kevin Love Deserves to Be An All-Star

LOVE Scoring

Love averages 16 points per game, which is third in the Eastern Conference among power forwards, behind Chris Bosh (19.2 ppg) and Paul Millsap (18.3 ppg). Keep in mind that those two players are leading their teams in scoring and are not competing for points with someone like LeBron James, who is averaging 25 points per game.

Bosh’s teammate Dwayne Wade is averaging 18.7 points per game, but there is no third scorer on the team close to Kyrie Irving’s 15 points per game. So Love has more competition in terms of scoring.

As for the Atlanta Hawks, Al Horford and Jeff Teague are both averaging approximately 15 points per game, so Millsap has less competition in terms of scoring than Love faces with LeBron and Kyrie.

The duo of LeBron and Kyrie combine for 10 more points per game than Teague and Horford. They also combine for 10 more points per game than the duo of Wade and Hassan Whiteside in Miami.
