The rumors about Gallo broke late on Friday, and again he’s just another name that could give the team some at bats with the current issues with injuries.
Gallo is hitting .190 with 26 homers and 56 runs batted in, and he’s struck out 142 times already this season, most in the American League.
He won’t be a free agent till 2023, so if the Indians wanted to take a chance on him and make a move for him, they would have him under control for a long time to come.
