2. Billy Hamilton Cincinnati Reds
With Jones out of the picture, one player who the Indians might take more of a look at is Billy Hamilton, the speedster from the Reds.
Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe says that Hamilton is very much on the Tribe’s radar as the team keeps their options open to add an outfielder, more so now with Tyler Naquin hurt.
Forget about the Indians giving up a lot for Hamilton though, as he’s hitting just .225 with a .301 on-base percentage. For his career, Hamilton’s OBP is below .300.
Yes he’s dangerous when he gets on base, the issue is he’s not getting on base enough.
