RB Melvin Gordon SD
Gordon was a big disappointment last year with the first round pick not even registering one touchdown all season. I don’t see a Trent Richardson career coming yet so hopefully he will be on the bounce back. The Chargers had no healthy offensive lineman all year so getting some of their regulars back should give the line some extra confidence to run the football. If Gordon gets over the fumbles and mistakes of last season, he can be an under the radar guy to grab in the middle rounds.
RB Theo Riddick DET
Riddick was first among the RBs last season in catches. He eats up PPR and rightfully so. With Megatron gone, more players are going to have to step up in Detroit. Riddick can continue to do that. Abdullah never took over the role of starting RB like most thought he would, leaving the door open for Riddick to get a lot of touches. Bell is also no longer with the Lions so Riddick might get more touches this year on the ground instead of being just a pass catcher. If Abdullah continues to not solidify himself as the starter, Riddick may become the starter for Detroit at some point during the season.
WR Tyler Lockett SEA
Lockett came on strong last season once Jimmy Graham went down. While Baldwin was the one whose numbers soared, Lockett might be worth keeping an eye on. A special teams ace who might get a return TD or two, Lockett still caught six touchdowns mostly coming from the slot. A small speedy WR, Lockett is the deep threat that can put up instant points with one big play. He catches a high percentage of balls and if the Seahawks offense looks like it did the final five weeks he might be in the top 30.
