9. It’s the Only WrestleMania Ever Held on a Day Other Than Sunday
Yes there was a time that Sunday at 8pm Eastern wasn’t always the start time for the yearly WrestleMania event. The first Mania started at 3pm in MSG, and then after Mania 2 most Mania’s up until Mania X in MSG again started at 4pm EST. This Mania was the most odd, as it was on a Monday night starting at 8pm Eastern. Add in the fact that you were over three venues in three time zones, and the time of this Mania was all over the place.
There was never a real reason given for why the company decided to do this Mania on a Monday, but that test run lasted just one year before they went back to it on Sunday the next year for Mania III in Michigan. A good move, as fans now are accustomed to having Mania (and every PPV for that matter) on a Sunday at 8pm EST.

I actually knew this because I had 2 record from Showtime. I accidentally recorded over it but still had a little bit with showtime symbol on it.
