10. It was the First and Only Mania Held in More Than One City
Yes, coming off the first Mania in Madison Square Garden in 1985, the second Mania was actually split up into three different venues, an odd decision that has never been duplicated since and never will be. The first ‘portion’ of Mania 2 was held in the now closed Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The second at the Rosemont Horizon in Rosemont, Illinois (which has also hosted Mania’s 13 and 22), and the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California (site of Mania 7 after it was moved from the Rose Bowl).
While each venue got four matches, once your portion was done, they lowered big screens so you could watch the other two parts of the card. It was a clunky effort that didn’t seem to be a hit with many fans, as at each venue watching back to the event, you could easily see empty seats. Kudos to the company for never trying something so odd again.

I actually knew this because I had 2 record from Showtime. I accidentally recorded over it but still had a little bit with showtime symbol on it.
