#5. Amara Darboh WR
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound receiver will face his biggest challenge of his college career on Saturday.
It’s no secret what type of talent he goes up against in the Buckeyes’ secondary, but if he can make big plays in spite of that tough matchup, it will go a long way in deciding the outcome.
Darboh does not have the most ideal situation with a backup quarterback under center, but that makes it even more paramount for him to step up and lead his team.
The last thing the Wolverines want to do is become one-dimensional and allow Ohio State to load up the box and focus on shutting down Smith.
If Darboh and the Wolverines can at least make Ohio State respect the passing game, it opens things up for Smith to have a big day.
The senior wide out is already over 700 receiving yards for the second-straight season. He has caught seven touchdown passes in 11 games.
Last year, Darboh caught four passes for 68 yards against Ohio State, but it was to no avail, as the Buckeyes won 42-13.
This Michigan team is stronger in every facet of the game and if Darboh does his job, the Wolverines have a great shot to steal a win at the Horseshoe.
This will be Darboh’s third and final time playing in the rivalry game and he’ll be as motivated as anyone to put on a great performance.
