#2. Jabrill Peppers LB
Peppers is a Heisman candidate and projected to be an early first-round pick in the draft for a reason.
Wherever he is on the field, he makes plays.
Whether he’s making goal line stops at linebacker, returning kicks/punts, picking up the first down on 3rd and short or 4th and inches, or punching it into the end zone, he is a major reason why Michigan is back on top.
Ohio State has yet to face a team with any player as versatile, who can make such a big impact in so many ways.
It would be a storybook ending for his rivalry with Ohio State to end with a signature play that fans will point back to for decades to come, and to be honest, even optimistic Buckeye fans have reason to fear he is capable of doing that.
As much as Ohio State’s defense is capable of making big plays and shifting the momentum of the game with a defensive score or forcing a turnover to set up advantageous field position, Peppers is a threat to do the same.
It goes without saying that this guy is a player to watch on Saturday, but if this rivalry match really lives up to the hype, he may have his say with a big play or two to change the whole dynamic of the game.
