49.) Create A Deep Team
I can’t go on enough about how important it is to have a deep team. The deeper your team is the more flexible you can be with your lineup each week. Playing the best matchups each week becomes easier, injuries affect your team less, everyone on your team can contribute during byes, your playoff run gets set better, etc. Use the waiver wire appropriately and make a team that can win from the top to bottom because you never know when an injury will strike.
50.) Look At Statistics
Each week the fantasy experts and stat people come up with some crazy statistics. Anyone who watches ESPN or knows anything about fantasy knows exactly what I’m talking about. Whether it is how this team performs when they play in prime time or how this player excels against this one team, there are stats for literally anything you can imagine. Sometimes there are some intriguing ones that catch my eye. Those can be helpful when you are stuck deciding between two players. Projected stats can also be a help when drafting to get an idea of what your possible draft pick is capable of doing. Not all stats are going to be relevant but look through them if you can. It can give you another perspective on something you knew nothing about.
